Ooops, your browser is to old! So that you do not go empty-handed, here the main facts about us: // Leider ist dein Browser zu alt. Damit du nicht leer ausgehst, hier die wichtigsten Infos über uns:
we are moving graphic design:
We are a matey creative Design Agency based in Munich (germany). Our passion is Motion Design and Animation in every possible way. // Wir sind eine aufstrebende Designagentur aus München. Wir lieben alles, was mit Animation und Motion Design möglich ist.
The German feature film "Offline - Das Leben ist kein Bonuslevel" by director Florian Schnell is a young cheeky film about gamers. The film was produced by Rat Pack Filmproduktion, Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and the game studio Piranha Bytes.
Oha! Motion design for a complete feature film!
We had a mammoth task ahead of us: the entire film was to be enhanced by us with animations, VFX and motion design. Starting with the intro up to the so-called credit animation (also called outro or credits). In addition, we were responsible for the complete production of the interface designs (UI/UX). Hell yeah, we love challenges!
The success proves right!
Not only we had fun, but also the film was well received by the audience. It also won several festival awards in 2016: "The LEO" Youth Film Award, "Best Feature Film", "Best Youth Movie" or the "Best Feature Movie". Now the film has found its home on Netflix - we are happy! Here, because it's so nice, is another review from programmkino.de:
„With its elaborate animations and pointed linking of game and reality, Schnell has succeeded in making an unusual, original film.“
A look behind the scenesn
We were able to let off steam and experiment with this project. We created the animations in After Effects and Cinema4D. So a mixture of 3D and 2D graphic animations. We combined this with effects (e.g. Deep-Glow), TEXTURES and particle systems. The grand finale here is the outro (or credits): here we set off a real motion design firework with wonderfully weird GIFs and wacky typo animations!
The crazy credits:
Because it was so much fun and really worth watching, here is the Youtube video of the crazy outro animations (credits) in full length ♥♥♥
